Welcome to my blog!

I started this blog in 2010 while at a high school journalism camp at Indiana University and though the blog has gone through several changes, one thing has remained the same: my blog is a place dedicated to sharing my thoughts and opinions while working to improve my favorite pastime: writing.

As a twentysomething, I have found that life is oftentimes confusing and messy. The plans that I thought were so concrete tend to fall apart, and sometimes (most of the time) life doesn’t turn out the way that I had intended. So, this blog has become a great outlet for me to try to figure out life, and if I can’t do that – then to at least get the chance to complain about it.

I’m a blogger with a lot of experience in writing – but still trying to figure out the design/social media/promotion aspect of it. One day, I hope to become a more “professional” blogger – but until then, I’ll settle for great content with mediocre design and promotion.

Feel free to reach out to me on social media via Twitter or Instagram, or e-mail me at smcoppedge4@gmail.com.

So, enough about my writing and more about what you (maybe) came here to learn about: me.

Fun fact: I’m a self-proclaimed selfie master

Age: 22 (as of August 2016)

Hometown: Indianapolis, Ind.

Hobbies include: Blogging (duh!), reading, traveling, learning (yes – I love to learn) concerts, Netflix-ing, going to conferences (I think they’re super fun) and spending time with family & friends.

Fun fact: I attended the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. I hope to travel more of the world in the future.

Fun Fact: I think my hometown of Indianapolis is the best place I’ve been to yet. I am proud to be a Hoosier.

Fun Fact: My membership in my sorority, Sigma Kappa, has easily become one of the most rewarding and impactful experiences in my life.

Goals include: Moving out of my parents house by my 24th birthday, visiting all 50 states, attending the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, bringing Michael Jackson back from the dead and planning his revival tour, publishing a book, writing for a national magazine/publication and becoming the VP of a company.

Alma Mater: Ball State University (graduating in May 2017)
