Meet Sammi

Who is Sammi?

Hey there! I’m Sammi Coppedge, a full-time PR professional and wannabe blogger living in the Midwest. I grew up in Indianapolis, lived in Muncie, Ind. during my college years, and am back living the Circle City.

Ever since I can remember, writing has been my passion. Whether it’s been writing a short story, journaling, or creating content for a number of brands through my professional job, I find so much power and beauty in words.

I use my blog as a place to write about current issues and the things I’m most passionate about. I started Sammi Says many moons ago (2010 to be exact) but unfortunately my dedication to blogging has wavered a few times. However, I’m back and ready to start sharing again.

By day, I’m a full-time PR professional working for an online eyewear retailer. By night, I enjoy traveling the world, scrolling through Instagram, testing out new recipes in the kitchen, volunteering, reading for one (of my many) book clubs, or spending time with the people (& cats) I love most.

I’m excited for you to join me on this journey as I explore the ups and downs of your twenties – and everything in between.

What is she blogging about?

I’ll be writing about a number of things and happenings that are apart of my life, such as my friends, family, career and hometown.

I’ll also be writing about the numerous issues that are close to my heart. I’m passionate about politics and working to make America a better place. In particular, I get fired up about feminism, minorities’ rights, the environment, sexual assault and Alzheimer’s Disease, to name a few.

You’ll also see posts from me that discuss my anxieties, fears, hopes, and dreams. After all, that’s what SammiSays has long been about – navigating the struggles that many twentysomethings face.

How can I get in touch?
